Introduction to the Portfolio

The rocking chairs and the dining chairs and tables are the mainstays of our business.  They deserve catalog pages of their own.  I list and display our other work together as a portfolio; additions occur more readily to this body of work.

Inlays are pieces of contrasting wood set flush into the surface of a piece of furniture as a decoration.  We inlay into chairbacks, tops of tables and stools, drawer fronts, and panels — but mostly into chairbacks.

How We Make an Inlay

We catalog and build a stool and a side table, primarily as accessories for the rocking chairs.  But the stool is useful for sitting in other contexts and the side table can serve as an end table or nightstand.
