Blanket-wrappedDining Furniture is usually, and rockers are occasionally, delivered to points in North America, other than the major cities of Texas, by "blanket wrapped" carriers. The furniture is wrapped in our shop under my supervision. The furniture is covered in a cocoon of bubble-wrap and shrink-wrap. Tabletops then receive a layer of cardboard, folded to protect the edges and shrink-wrapped in place. As the furniture is loaded on the truck it is wrapped and padded by moving blankets. Travel time for these deliveries averages 10 working days. The local agent will call you to schedule the delivery. They will set the furniture where you want it, unwrap it, and remove the debris. Prior to shipment, we mail, email, or FAX the shipping information sheet below. This sheet describes the delivery process and how the shipment can be tracked.

Wrapping and Protecting the Furniture during Transit The agent who picks up your furniture will wrap each piece individually with bubble-wrap and shrink-wrap at our shop under our supervision. Tabletops will be further protected by cardboard. In transit, the furniture will be wrapped and padded by moving blankets. Delivery The dispatcher at the delivery terminal listed above will call a few days in advance to schedule the delivery. He will usually be able to accommodate you if you need to request a time or day for delivery. The further from a major urban area that you are, the less flexible your delivery time will be. For example, the agent may only come to outlying areas on certain specific days. The charges will have been prepaid by us and will appear on your furniture invoice. The delivery crew will set your furniture where you want it, unwrap it, and remove all debris. Possible Damage While we are careful to see that the furniture is carefully wrapped, damage may occur due to mishandling. Your furniture is insured and we will see that you get what you ordered in perfect condition. However, please inspect the furniture carefully, both before and after it is unwrapped. If the wrapping is torn, worn, or punctured, be certain to check that area. Any damage must be noted on the delivery receipt. If you find damage that is deep into the wood or structural, REFUSE to accept that piece. The carrier will return it to us and we will replace it. If you find damage that is superficial, it can be repaired in your home. In any event, note all damage on the delivery receipt. Call us.
