Shipping International

We have shipped rockers to Australia, Japan, Belgium, the Netherlands, England, France, and Switzerland.

Sending a rocker across borders has three requirements:  the shipping itself, clearing of customs, and collection of any taxes or duties.

We use BAX Global for our international shipments.  They pick up crated chairs here, put them on an airplane, arrange for local delivery, clear customs, and deliver to your door.  Travel time is usually 5–7 business days.  We invoice and collect for these services.  The delivering agent will collect any taxes or duties at the time of delivery.

Please call or if you would like to know the cost of shipping to an international address. As a reference, we have charged about $500 to ship to major cities in the European countries listed above, about $700 to Australia and Japan.

We can provide local phone numbers for the delivering agent in your country.  You can call them and/or your local taxing authority to ascertain what the total for taxes and duties will be upon delivery.

We can accept VISA or MasterCard for payment and they will handle the currency exchange. Or we can arrange for a wire transfer with your bank and they can handle the currency exchange.

Before shipment we will email, mail, or FAX a shipping information sheet giving a local phone number for the delivering agent, a tracking number, and other details.
