I came to work with Gary and Austin in 2003, I was 27. I have lived in Wimberley my entire life and there have been many changes. The woodshop has always been the same, rock solid. Without question, there is always something to do. There is always an improvement to be made. And the intention becomes the art. As we were shaping the wood into chairs my life and family were also shaped.
There have been many blessings, including my wife Candace and my son and daughter, Asa and Ave, and our community. I have learned how to be a furniture maker from Gary, Leslie and Austin Weeks. It is the most rewarding work I have ever done.
