Hail to The Chair

While working on a restaurant in Austin, Amber Lewis discovered the Berry Barstool handmade by Gary Weeks & Company’s small workshop in Wimberley, Texas. “I’m crazy about it, especially in a modern space,” says Lewis. “It’s comfortable, durable and a beautifully detailed piece of furniture.” Made from solid cherry from the Allegheny Mountains in Pennsylvania, the wood is grown in managed forest and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. She says, “I believe in specifying responsibly produced furniture as well as sourcing materials and manufacturing from Texas businesses as much as possible.”
