Thanks for getting back with me Gary, I appreciate it.

Just a note regarding the rocker and your company. I was really anticipating the arrival of the rocker and even though I had seen photos a number of times on your website I was blown away when I opened the box. Wow, the rocker is a true piece of “functional” art and you and your crew clearly take great pride in your work. To say I’m disappointed to have to return the rocker is an understatement. I appreciate you taking a chance on me and your no-nonsense return policy. I’m sure you receive very few pieces of your furniture back. I’ll spread the word about your fine furniture!

Hello:

We've unpacked the chair this weekend and spent much of the weekend sitting in it. Great construction and nice attention to detail.

Unfortunately, it really pains me to say this chair just isn't right for us. We live in a very small house in San Francisco and the chair overpowers the room. I measured many times and it appeared as though it would fit -- and technically does -- but it clutters the room and leaves very little space to walk...

And very sorry this hasn't worked out.

Hi Gary & Team,

Yes, our chair was delivered, and we absolutely love it. I’ve attached a picture of the chair in our nursery with some artwork that arrived with it- Thanks, Bela!

Just so you’re aware, the freight company never updated the tracking information nor did they contact us before delivery. I simply got a phone call from the driver when he was at my home and nobody was there to receive the chair. In this case, everything worked out fine, so no problem, but I thought you’d like to know.

Thanks again! We’re looking forward to rocking our new baby in another 6 weeks or so!

Hi Gary,

Yes, I received the table on Monday. It looks great!!

One upper corner on the end of the shipping box was banged in about an inch and a half and the end grain wood at that corner of the table top got pushed in a very small amount, but its not real noticeable. I accepted the delivery no problem. I really like the face grain pattern you guys got on the table top pieces, super nice, have already got compliments on the table.

Hi Gary,

I did receive the rocking chair, just when you said it would come. And the delivery person was very pleasant and helpful. I rock in it almost every evening. It is my "let it be" chair.

It seems each time I sit in it I find something else to like about it. Just the other night I discovered if I turn a little and hang one leg over the arm I can use the edge of the back support slats and the rocking motion to massage my back. Aaah. I don't have any problems with my tailbone resting on the seat, which is a nice surprise. I especially like that the slats in the back leave a spot for my spine right in the middle, that there's room for me to tuck my feet underneath, and that it rocks pretty far without ever feeling unstable. And it's absolutely beautiful.

I almost hate to give any non-positive feedback, because it might make you think I enjoy my chair less or expect you to do anything about this stuff. But you seem like you might appreciate it... So this is just for your information; no need to respond.

- The bottom of the shipping box was very dirty - that black greasy dirt that sticks to things. If I had carpet instead of hardwood floors I would probably have had to clean the carpet afterwards.

- I find that resting my arms on the arm rests isn't all that comfortable. I'm not sure why. They feel a little too high and far away from my body. I am about average height for a woman (5'-7") but I think I have long arms for my height. And I'm on the slender side. In fact it's more comfortable for me to tuck my elbows through the back of the chair and put my hands on the seat next to my behind.

Last night my good friend M. came over and spent some time in the rocking chair. She's had a difficult few weeks and she really seemed to find the rocking chair soothing. She also thought it was beautiful.

Thank you for building such a functional and beautiful piece! It is a joy to have it in my life.

Dear Mr. Weeks,

I wanted to write to you in order to thank you for sending us a check for the carpet cleaning that had to be done after delivery of our rocking chair. While, I believe it was the shipping company's fault for the damage, it is very refreshing to be able to do business with someone who is willing to take responsibility for mistakes that were made.
