My apologies for not writing sooner. Yes, they arrived and are beautiful!

They complement our new kitchen perfectly. I especially enjoy the offset footrests, my husband is 6'5" and uses the lower one, while I am 5'3" and use the higher one. Such a thoughtful design detail. Thank you for your excellent craftsmanship. A few action shots for you and your team . . . as you can see, they also work as cat beds.

Yes, I was sorry not to be able to tag along for the pickup. My work schedule and a vehicular breakdown required me to stay in Austin.

As to the chairs, they are a delight. I'm sitting in one of the new ones right now. And as I mentioned, I've parked my tush in many different chairs over my writing career and your arm chair is simply the best.

Thanks for checking in with me! Yes, there was a slight delay as I was not home the first time Fedex tried to make the delivery and therefore I asked them to transfer and hold the stools at a local site for pickup. I have the stools now, and I could not be happier with them! They are absolutely beautiful. I feel so lucky to have such a finely crafted functional piece in my home. Hi Gary, Austin and Becca — the trestle desk arrived right on time today and is just perfect! You were absolutely right — the maple and walnut look great together. It fits the space beautifully and is quite comfortable to work on (maybe too comfortable). And as you can see, even the dogs are enjoying it!

Thanks again for your advice and great work. And a special thanks for the little maple inlays on the ends of the stretcher — those are the details that turn a beautiful piece of furniture into a work or art!
