Gary,

Yes, the stool arrived on Friday. It is fantastic. The weather cooled off here in Denver last week so the timing was perfect. I also had my family in town; so, everyone enjoyed sitting on the stool by the fire. Someone commented that the finish on the wood was so soft it felt like silk.

I am already planning my next order and am looking forward to adding many more GW&Co. pieces to my house.

Hello,

Yes, my chair and footstool did arrive and I have admired them all weekend. It is extremely comfortable and fits me perfectly! It is the nicest rocker I have ever had the opportunity to sit in. And I like the color — from the photographs it looks like there are quite a variety of shades in the walnut. The walnut rocker on the website is a dark color while some of the email pictures were quite a bit paler with more of a yellow tint. So this one is very nice. I also like how there is almost an iridescent quality to the grain so it is quite an artistic and interesting chair to look at, as well as being so comfortable.

Gary,

I received the chair. I was taking a risk ordering it online without seeing the chair, but this risk was worth taking. Both my girlfriend and I like the chair and footstool very much. I can clearly see the craftsmanship — the lines are sharp and straight where needed and smooth and soft on the chair seat and arms. The wood is warm and very nice to touch.

Had I have more time, I would prefer a chair in walnut, but cherry looks very good. My only comment for you would be to try minimizing the number of visible black knots. My chair have three sizeable very black knots on the arms and the back that I would prefer not to have.

All my friends are very impressed with your work, so you might have more orders coming from DC area.
