Hello Gary and Company. Our Walnut Rocker arrived in fine order on Friday in Michigan. It was well packed and there weren't any marks on the box. I had forgotten how beautiful, rich and shiny it was 17 years ago when I bought it. Y'all did a fabulous job refinishing it!! Unfortunately, once we put it in our living room we realized that it was just too nice for our renters to use. Like I've always said, y'all are artists and not just wood workers. I could not allow such a beautiful work or art to be scratched, or god forbid to have someone sit on it with a wet bathing suit. That just won't do! So it shall sit in our locked owners closet, wrapped like a present until we return for a month in July/Aug so only we will be the ones to marvel and enjoy it.
Many thanks for an exceptional job done by all at Gary Weeks and Company. Always remember that you create beauty that enriches other peoples lives!

Thanks for the follow up email Gary — that is not necessary, but very much welcome and is an excellent display of customer service and satisfaction!
Jealous of your Italian sojourn, I am sure you returned well rested and well fed!
Regarding the rocker: yes — we very much realize now that the value in the piece is frankly lower than the asking price (while also recognizing that the true value would put the rocker out of our reach . . . so we've both come to appreciate your pricing!).
The only problem is that S now claims the rocker as her exclusive domain. Whereas we used to read nighttime stories together while rocking, I'm now relegated to an adjacent seat while S gets to rock comfortably by herself as she listens to the story! I guess it is her chair, ultimately, but I can't say I appreciate being kicked out of it! LOL.
