Hi Gary,

The rocker did arrive on April 2 as planned. I used part of the weekend to give it a good test and, unfortunately, it is not a good fit for me. I find that, if I sit back in the chair as intended, I get a pressure point at the tailbone after 10 minutes or so. I can relieve that by slipping down in the seat a bit, but then the arms feel too high and my shoulders are scrunched. Alas, I am just too tall for the chair.

I will say that a friend was visiting and tried the chair. He thought it was incredibly comfortable, so I'm sure the majority of customers are thrilled with their chairs. But like many other things in this world, I don't quite fit.

I will repack the chair in it's original materials. Please contact me with instructions for setting up a return.

I just received my rocker and I am very pleased! We bought the rocker as we are expecting our first child and know we needed something comfortable for the long sleepless nights. The packaging was well designed and not a thing left without lots of bubble wrap. I'm very impressed with the product, service, and shipping . . . and I'm a very tough judge! Gary,

The rocker does pull you in. It seductively says give me a try. Have a seat. And when you do, you're in no hurry to get up.

Gary — I started life as an architect. So I did the whole design thing through school. My sophomore year we had to design and make furniture. I chose chairs and my prof said I was crazy. Well there were 4 chairs over the course of two semesters. One looked good but killed you when you sat in it. Two were just ok and the fourth was a winner. Chair design is very difficult and having given it a try I know how hard it is. Your rocker is a masterpiece. It seems to be body agnostic, that is, it doesn't matter how tall or wide you are, it is comfortable. Add to that great aesthetics and marvelous craftsmanship and it is a piece that is fought over in an estate settlement.

Before we're done, everyone in the family will be a proud owner of a Gary Weeks rocker.

Hello Gary,

The chairs were presented last night and once the honorees got out of them, they were never empty!
Many people were asking where they came from so I hope you will get some Corpus Christi business!
