Gary and Autumn,
I received the Weeks Rocking Chair and footstool this afternoon. No damage was found. The rocker is fantastic! Well made, beautiful wood, fits my body like a glove. When I was in college and medical school I always used a rocker for reading/studying... Now that I am retired..., I have been looking for a great rocking chair and believe that I have found it.

The Eagle has landed!
The crate arrived just before sunset and we just got everything unpacked. The table and chairs are beautiful and the perfect size.

Congratulations on your 30th anniversary! I have had my Weeks Rocker now for 23 years and it is still rocking away in great shape. I love this rocker and I have experienced many ups and downs in this chair, and now that I am retired I spend many happy days and evenings listening to music in my Weeks masterpiece. I found Gary Weeks company on the internet. My sister lives in Houston and I wanted to see this chair so badly, I flew from Seattle to Houston and then we took a little weekend trip to Wimberley, TX. While I felt very comfortable that I could return the chair if I didn’t like it, a trip to see my sister seemed like a fun idea.
I’m so glad I went. I met Gary’s son Austin and a couple other members of their team. They were all very delightful and showed me their shop. They showed me the wood they use and how they put the chairs together. While eating at a restaurant in Wimberley, I saw a rocking chair and could tell it had been made in their shop. The chair in the restaurant was over 10 years old.
When you sit in the rocker, you just want to stroke the wood, it’s that soft. The chair is very comfortable. It fits both my husband and myself. I have a piece of functional art.
Also, the chair was shipped beautifully and I was apprised of when it would be delivered. The entire transaction was seamless from start to finish.
